Research Projects

The charter members of DerMap worked for more than a decade as research consultants for the Department of Biology at the University of Trieste in Marine Biology, Terrestrial Ecology and Information Technology. The existing cooperations with scientific institutes are very important for technology transfer and allow DerMap to identify as a direct link between science and production. We understand “academic” language but we honor the deadlines and the economical requirements of the market. Our background allows the company to keep being competitive and provide its clients with technologically advanced services. This is possible also thanks to top-level technical and scientific consultants, to the chance of accessing an international network of professionals and to the up-to-date operational structure in progress (investments for hardware, software and survey devices). DerMap is hosted by the Science and Technology Park “Luigi Danieli” in Udine and directly involved in a partnership with companies hosted by Area Science Park in Trieste, both highest expressions of the science-enterprise reality in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
